"Rabbit and Groundhog"

It was so fun to observe Rabbit and Groundhog enjoying their time in Nature. I notice that the conviviality of mingling / co-existing resists categories, for lack of better phrasing. In this rapport, Rabbit and Groundhog focus on their food, keeping an eye out for strange relations! They were also noticing me being close by. What were they observing? What were they sensing? It’s really cool to think through trust in this context. I think it’s safe to say that trusting relations is easier when they do not pose a threat to Rabbit’s and Groundhog’s integrity. In this way, the grassland is an awesome context! It’s filled with hope and interesting encounters for me, but safety for the animals, however ephemeral.
"Hares"

Bunnies are so fun! I saw one a couple of minutes ago in a snow bank. I think it was looking for grass.
I was surprised to observe this! Usually, March is when the cuties start to appear. I’ve come across many, many rabbits over the last five years. I’m so grateful to be part of their world. I think they are amongst my favourite creatures out here!!!
